Litter is a problem in almost every country in the world. Not only does litter look bad, it also is bad for the environment. Litter sometimes contains diseases, ends up in the ocean, or is just a waste of natural resources. Although litter and trash doesn't seem like the biggest issue in the United States, countries like Brazil and China have terrible litter and waste issues.  This trash is bad for the environment,  destroys ecosystems, and is super harmful to animals. Animals can either suffocate from the waste or contract diseases from the trash. In order to make sure that the animals of the world are preserved, there needs to be an effort across the world to pick up trash. In first world countries there are people paid to clean up the streets but many third world countries don't have that same luxury.
